General Information
Juvederm® Ultra XC is a dermal filler developed by Allergan, recognized for its expertise in manufacturing high-quality aesthetic solutions. This hyaluronic acid gel is FDA approved (PMA P050047) for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, and for lip augmentation in adults over 21. It offers optimal injection comfort due to the presence of lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in our bodies and plays a crucial role in skin hydration and elasticity, but its production decreases with age. Juvederm® Ultra XC compensates for this loss, improving the appearance of wrinkles with a natural result. Effects can last from 9 to 12 months.
Usage Protocol
- Consult a qualified aesthetic doctor to assess your needs and determine the areas to be treated.
- For each injection, a 1ml syringe of Juvederm® Ultra XC is used.
- The injections are performed with lidocaine, thereby minimizing pain.
- Renew the injections as advised by your practitioner to maintain the desired results.
Composition
Composition: 24 mg of hyaluronic acid gel, 3 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride, phosphate buffer pH 7.2 q.s.p. 1 ml.
Contents of the box: 2 glass syringes of 1ml and sterile needles.
Juvederm® Ultra XC contains hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. It is contraindicated for individuals with hypersensitivity to any of its components. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as individuals under the age of 21, should also avoid this product.
